Sonya Ford and her husband Jerry have lived in the Redding area since 1979. Jerry started in the construction business as an apprentice of the Operating Engineers. He later became a Contractor and Sonya was his business partner/office manager. While in business Jerry and Sonya hired many apprentices and helped young people get into careers in the Construction business. Sonya believes in the importance of helping people get started in life and looks forward to serving on the board that honors Jerry’s and her very good friend Chuck Candelaria.

Liz Laskodi has lived in Redding since 2015. She received her Masters in Nursing from the University of Tennessee and currently works at the Redding VA as Nurse Manager. She has the love and support of Her husband Chris, children Charlie and Emily, and her dog Gus. She is a Bay Area sports fanatic and loves classic cars. Now that her family is established in Redding, she wants to give back to the community by supporting the The Charles Candelaria Memorial Foundation and what they do for the North State.
